Making
Beer
So
that you can see how simple it is to make homemade beer, here is a quick
overview of the 5 step process.
| 1. | Sterilise
all the brewing equipment, especially the beer bottles. |
| 2. | Mix
the beer kit and yeast sachet with the required amount of sugar and water. Store
in a warm place until the brew has fermented (usually about 7 days). |
| 3. | Decant
the fermented brew into sterilised bottles, adding a teaspoon of sugar to each
bottle. Put caps on bottles and store in a warm place for 2 weeks to enable secondary
fermentation. | | 4. | Transfer
bottles into a cool place for a further 4 weeks to allow the beer to mature. |
| 5. | After
refrigerating a bottle of beer, sit back and relax with your own homemade beer! |
