We are proud to be a major sponsor of Paper4Trees – a waste minimisation and tree planting programme run by Environmental Education for Resource Sustainability Trust (EERST for short). Paper4Trees encourages New Zealand schools and preschools to divert as much paper and cardboard as possible from landfill by providing free classroom recycling bins. This helps with source separation so their paper and cardboard doesn’t end up in the landfill. As an incentive for schools to report their recycling efforts, they are rewarded with one native tree for every two cubic metres of paper and cardboard they recycle.
At Bin Inn we are focused on caring for the environment so are excited to be sponsoring such an initative and are delighted in seeing the progress being made. Find Out More
We are honoured to have been invited into the New Zealand Retail Group which comprises the major supermarket and food retailers of New Zealand. Collectively this group is focused on reducing child obesity. It pledges include the provision of more healthy choices in our stores and cooperation with the public agency and wider industry to support initiatives which provide consumers with more information and education about foods which can help turn the tide in the fight against obesity.
