500g (3 3/4 Cups) Bin Inn Bran Muffin Mix
1 ½ Tbsps Golden Syrup
1. Place water, Bin Inn Bran Muffin Mix and golden syrup into a bowl.
2. Using a cake mixer, blend together for 15 seconds minute on slow speed or mix with a spoon until ingredients are combined.
3. Spoon mixture into a greased 12 hole muffin tray.
6. Bake at 220°C for about 12 minutes or until cooked.
Apple & Bran Muffins:
Stir through 1/2 cup of stewed apple after step 2. Replace some of the water with the drained juice from the stewed apple, use 40ml of drained juice and 260ml of water.
Sultana Bran Muffins:
Stir through 2/3 cup of sultanas* after step 2. Or add any dried fruit such as raisins or diced apricots*.
Warm your spoon under hot water firstly to easily add the golden syrup. Replace some of the water with fruit juice. To check if muffins are cooked, they should spring back when touched. Use paper muffin cases for easy cleaning of the muffin tray. For best results, weigh dry ingredients, the cup measurements are a guide only.
