Serena's Butter Icing

 Bin Inn Serena Butter Icing

INGREDIENTS

  • 100g butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 ½ cups icing sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (approximately)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate icing)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the butter until creamy.
  2. Gradually add half of the icing sugar, beating until smooth. Then add the remaining icing sugar and beat until fully incorporated.
  3. Mix in the vanilla essence. If making chocolate icing, add the cocoa powder and beat until combined.
  4. If the icing is too thick, add a tablespoon of milk and beat until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Spread the butter icing over the cooled cake. Enjoy licking the beaters afterward!
