Birdseed Crackers
INGREDIENTS
1 cup cornmeal flour
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
¼ cup sesame seeds
¼ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup sliced almonds
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground chili
¼ cup olive oil
1 cup boiling water
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the flour, seeds, and nuts in a bowl.
Add the olive oil and boiling water, mixing well (it will be very liquid).
Spread the mixture onto baking paper and flatten it into a thin layer. Be sure the mixture isn’t too thick, as it won’t bake through properly.
Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Allow it to cool in the oven with the door slightly open.
Let the crackers cool completely on a wire rack, then break them into pieces.
