Red Pepper Spread

Red Pepper Spread


2 tsps Gelatine (use Agar Flakes if Vegan)
1 1/2 Cups Hot Water
3/4 Cup Raw Cashew Pieces
2 Tbsps Sesame Seeds
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder (or Crushed Garlic)
3 Tbsps Lemon Juice 2 tsps Onion Stock
1/4 Cup Yeast Flakes
1/2 Cup Fried or Baked Capsicums 


  1. Dissolve gelatine in hot water and leave to cool.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients into a kitchen whiz and blend together.
  3. Add the cooled water and gelatine mixture whilst blending.
  4. Pour into a flat container and cool overnight -alternatively freeze spread in muffin trays (silicon ones are good for that), then just use a small amount as you need it.
